For more
than twenty-five years, Chamber Readers have been delighting
children and adults with a unique style of storytelling. Combining
the literary integrity of tradtional readers theatre with an
energetic spirit particularily appealing to children, this versatile
group lifts stories off the page, and dances them around the
room.
Performing without
sets, costumes, or music, Chamber Readers invites listeners to
engage their imaginations and enter the magical world of literature
by bringing to life stories of every genre and every age, from
Beatrix Potter to Harry Potter, Eureopean fables and Native American
tales, poetry,comedy, realism, and fantasy.
Although they
perform primarily in schools, Chamber Readers can tailor programs
to suit specific audiences and/or age groups. The ever-changing
repertoire includes specialty programs for groups, events, and
holidays.
